The skirts were a complete blessing, both to those who received them and to me as I saw how important they were to the girls and their moms.
When I was there and I suggested to Sierra that we ought to make skirts for all the little girls, my motivation was simply that since I have access to so much fabric, trim,and patterns why not do something special.
I really did not realize the impact one skirt would have on the people, but they have.
The only problem has been that the boys are upset...They want shorts:)
So Michele went through he village and measured 22 big and little boys for shorts.
My next project is 22 pairs of shorts. Hopefully to be done before February 1....
At least the shorts don't need to be trimmed.
So let the challenge begin....seriously how hard can it be..ha...
