- My name is Karen. I am a wife,married to the same wonderful man for 42 years. I have 2 grown sons both are married and between them they have given me 8 excellent grandchildren.I love being a grandma. One son lives close to me and one son lives far away. He is a missionary and that makes me a parent of a missionary and a long distance grandmother. Having a missionary son is a joy and sometimes a sorrow.
