My kids are back on Tanna Island.
They went back two weeks ago.
The work must go on, and they have a consultant
coming this week.
It has been raining continuously since they arrived. .
The South Pacific is a miserable place when the
rain sets in.
Everything stinks of mildew, no laundry will dry
it hangs on the line til the rain stops.
The water usually goes out in the village, and
everything will be covered with mud.
We have good news though. The v-sat that
allows the kids to E-mail and Skype has not worked
since before furlough. There was no way to fix it
because there was no way to get the parts.
Well, while in NZ Erik got the parts he needed.
He put them on the plane, and was able to get
the v-sat working.
This is a huge praise.
Isn't it just like God to use something bad for some good?
Even with all that rain, communication hasn't broken down.
There are other struggles going on...
things that only God can fix.
I asked Erik, how Michele was doing, "she is quietly enduring, " he responded.
I'm sure that is what God would have us POM's do also... Quietly endure
in His grace as we watch our children struggle and we are not able
to help.
